My dentist complained that I wasn’t flossing properly with a water flosser. Wrapping a thin string around (my fat) two fingers then trying to reach the back teeth is ludicrous. This stick flosser is ideal, easy to use, a great value and works great. I especially like the angle that makes the back teeth accessible. No more complaints from my dentist. It’s hard to find in stores, but Amazon has them and at a reasonable (inexpensive) price. I enjoy flossing now and it works great getting stuck food out between teeth. I will not do without it . . . These are wonderful - go easily in between each tooth for good cleaning & not having to hold on to a string to pull back & forth - like a sling shot. One has a good stick to hold onto & using only one hand to guide back & forth. I personally use one every day & replace inserts, as needed. Read more
Because of the long handle, I'm finally flossing (something I should have been doing all along...)! I really prefer using this to stuffing my hands in my stinky mouth before brushing with regular string floss. Maybe it's just me. Keep on flossing :-) Read more
I am a fortunate recipient of orthodontic work, but cursed in the fact that I have a sensitivity to mint. Anything mint burns my mouth, eyes, and nose terribly. I found that a lot of thread floss was painful on my fingers and had a bit of graininess to it, even for non flavored versions. This floss stick eliminates all issues I had with thread floss. I can comfortably reach all of my teeth and the tight spaces between them from my orthodontic work. Also, there is absolutely no texture or graininess on the non-flavored refills! I previously used Glide flossers for over 19 years but their recent change in design made them unusable. They stretch and break leaving the floss stuck between my teeth. I tried another brand but the handle was way too small. Another bad review of the Glide flossers recommended these. So far they are working great. No stretching or breakage and the thinner design makes it easier to get in between teeth especially crowns. Hopefully they continue to work as well. If so I’ve found my new flossers. Read more
