I’ve been using sleep masks for almost 10 years (since moving to sunny Florida. Most have been fairly cheap, but I’ve tried a few ore expensive masks as well. But they all share the same traits: the shift on your face during sleep (I move from side to side quite a bit), they don’t really block all the light and they are flimsy (don’t hold their shape, etc.). This all changed when I gave the Litbear eye mask a try. It really is all they bill it to be. It’s breathable, it doesn’t shift on your face during sleep, it does block out all the light and it’s very comfortable on your face. Part of this is the material, it doesn’t get hot and is comfy on your skin. But the eye sockets I think are what really make this work. Super comfortable and help raise the mask just a bit which is why I think it’s so cool and comfy on your face. This is a really great eye mask. I highly recommend it! Read more

I have tried LITERALLY, close to every sleep mask on the market. I worked night shift or different shifts in a lab or as a doc, so Oslo Sleepbuds, blockout window shades, a mask, and Lunesta were all my VERY IMPORTANT friends. If you don’t get good sleep, it makes it difficult to have a good day. I preferred the masks that were made of foam and designed that a decent deep depression was formed so that your eyelashes would not touch the mask during the night, but most brands did not have that feature. I also never liked the kind with overlapping Velcro straps in the back, as they were thick, and even when you thought they were aligned perfectly, your hair could get caught in the Velcro and get pulled, or you could feel the sharp lump caused by the overlapping stiff Velcro edges. After a while, you would end up with a clump of hair wound around the straps, or the ends of the straps with the hair tangle would start curling the opposite way, which made it more difficult for the mask to stay on. And frequently, if the material was flannel, suede, or polyester fabrics, it would be TOO warm, and I would end up throwing it across the room in my sleep. Many other masks were not designed with a big enough nose hole, or did not have baffles that would come down and block the light that would be glaring up right into your eyes from around your nose. THIS mask, however, is PERFECT! The depressions for the eyelashes are plenty deep—even for eyelashes that are “addicted” to Latisse! The strap is essentially a 1 inch wide thin slip strap that allows you to slide a thin plastic clip that you can adjust for the perfect amount of tension that you want over your eyes. I’m a back sleeper with VERY short hair, and I cannot feel the clip or the strap at all on the back of my head. The face side of the mask is WONDERFULLY soft. It fits perfectly around any size nose, and doesn’t let even the tiniest amount of light in. If you are a side sleeper, the edges of the mask are tapered to a very thin edge which makes side sleeping way more comfortable. The material the mask is made of allows air to flow through the mask, keeping your face cool at night. I have never once yanked it off in my sleep. As a doctor who has wrestled with insomnia for 35+ years, I wish this would have been invented long ago! This and the Oslo Sleepbuds—make the best combo for a perfect night sleep! Read more

The media could not be loaded. It’s soft, comfortable even for my hubby with no hair. Blocks light. The reason for 4 stars is it does get warm. But for me it’s not a big problem bc I wake after a couple hours and just take it off. So I’d recommend giving this one a try. It’s good quality and works as advertised. Read more

It works well at blocking all the light out. It's comfortable but make sure it's adjusted so it's not too tight otherwise you may have an “imprint” on your face. Also, I hand washed it before first use to prevent any allergic reactions. I'm happy with this complete blackout sleep mask. It's comfortable and it does what it promises. I recommend it. Read more

This is a sleep mask that works well. I am not a side sleeper, but I have one and it works well for me. It is hand washable and no light gets in. I sleep facing a glass door with a translucent shade. There is a school behind our house that is always lit at night, so the door is always much lighter than the rest of the room. This mask really helps and is comfortable and the strap is easy to adjust. Read more
