With the options of configuration that I've found so far, these have worked great for us. There are settings to turn it on/off by time of day, then in the scenes you can configure it to turn on/off by weather conditions which is awesome, but i haven't had a chance to verify it works yet for me. I would like to have a little more control over the specific logic. i.e. I would like to ensure certain outlets are off if it is raining or snowing, but i think it will only turn off if it is currently on and it starts snowing. I'll have to test this and watch the results based on weather, but my assumption is that if it is already raining, then it gets to another timer setting to turn on, then the switch will still turn on and not re-evaluate the rain condition. But at least I can turn off my outdoor outlets remotely if it starts raining, so I'm still happy with the product. UPDATE: I think i have figured out the "weather" scenes. It will only turn on/off the outlets if it is a day specific to the weather pattern specified. This means that if you select to turn it off if it is a "snowy day", it will only turn off the outlet at the start of the snowy day, but this will not affect any other scenes or timers on the same outlet. So if a future scene or timer turns the outlet back on during that day, it will still turn on and not be affected by the weather scene configuration. Too bad there isn't more logic that can be applied, but at least i can manually turn them on/off remotely as needed via my phone. So, I'm still calling this a win for me. Read more

Previous years I’ve been tasked to go to 2 separate locations outside to plug in the Christmas lights, never again! I like that I can use these with voice command through the echo dot, it make turning on the Christmas lights really easy! I also like the fact that each receptacle can be independently programmed. You can have one outlet on a timer and another running on voice commands etc... took less than 5 mins to open the box and program the devices. Read more

Ok, I actually bought it twice. I love them for Christmas lights. Great Product. BUT, the install in instructions are lame. If you follow them, you'll fail. Often. Really Really Often So here's how to install- 1) Ignore the instructions. Don't even try to scan the code. I burned mine in ceremonial pile. 2) Get the Smart Life App and Alexa skill (or google) on your smart phone. 3) From the Smart Life APP, do "Electrician" (default), power strip, OTHER. NOT WIFI. 4) Push the power button until it flashes green and blue (5 sec) 5) Follow the instructions on the Smart Life app. Don't do 5G, do 2.4G (most guest networks are that speed) 6) Enjoy! And send me 10 bucks, I could use the money. If you have the smart life skill, 'magic' will occur and you'll see it on Alexa. Trouble shooting.....if the get the green only slow flash (the flash of death), power off and restart the process. That never works. Don't do the WIFI option on Smartlife. You'll only get mad. Because it takes a bit to get there as well. Hope that helps Read more

So far these have worked great. I got them primarily for Christmas lights and they have been running for about a week reliably. Set up took a few minutes. App is easy to use(not a fan of 24hr clock on the time setting but not a big deal). I set them up in my house then unplugged them and plugged them in outdoors. They held the names that I gave them and connected quickly. Read more

Don't bother. The android app goes into a crash loop. Look at the app reviews and it is overwhelming one stars. Without the app you can't do anything with it. There is an update to the Andoid OS and now the app crashes. It has been that way for over 6 months. I replaced my WIFI router and not I can't get into either of them. Can't start the app so they are just paper weights until I throw them in the garbage. If I could still return them I would. When I first got them, the app worked. I could program them. For the price they were a good buy. At this point I would never buy any smart plug from the Litedge company again. Read more

These control my outdoor low voltage walkway lights. I set my control box for the low voltage lights to always on and then connect the box to these outlets. The timer on the plugs then control the lights. As the season changes its a lot easier to change the times via the app. And I can always use the app to manually turn the lights on and off. Also, since I had Alexa discover them its always fun to tell her to turn the lights on and off. I plan to use the second tap in each plug to connect my seasonal lighting - the second tap has its own time schedule. Not too keen on the offset plug - it assumes how your outdoor outlet is wired. Straight in plug would be best so no matter how the outdoor outlet is wired, a straight plug can always drop unit downward. Read more
