This was a surprisingly nice kit! The light is even and bright, not fading out toward the "far end" of the chain. The kit includes every type of mounting you might want.. tiny self-tapping screws, velcro, double-stick. Plenty of wire retainers and extensions. Quite generous overall! The bars themselves are black anodized aluminum "L" shaped corners, with the LEDs correctly facing out into the intended space, from the corner. This makes a big difference in how much light they bring in from out of sight, as the cheaper flat stick-on LED strips are not angled correctly. When these are installed correctly (in corners), the bars are invisible but the light is plentiful. Nice! Last, shout out to the door sensor.. it's an infrared proximity sensor, not a mechanical switch, and works remarkably well. It's very easy to find some out-of-the-way place to stick it where it detects the door opening without touching it or getting in the way. These lights are fantastic. Perfect for our pantry, with plenty of light output. The kit is very well put together with an abundance of mounting accessories. The wire clips are discreet but secure and easy to install and there are plenty of them. I had a pack of zip ties ready and I ended up using only one and really didn't even need it. The lights are good quality and the sensor works well. Also not sure if it's mentioned in the description but the lights are soft on/off which was a nice bonus. Love this kit! Read more

I have a small pantry in my kitchen that used to have rechargeable LED lights. Those lights don’t work well and are annoying. Constant recharging, easy to knock off the mounts etc. Time for an upgrade. This LED kit from Litever was a great, inexpensive AC powered improvement. I was able to drill a small hole in the floor inside the door frame into my basement and run the plug-in AC adapter to a nearby AC outlet. I used blue painters tape to hold the light strips in place while I laid out the light pattern inside the door frame so they were symmetrical. Then I used the adhesive strips to attach the lights inside my door frame. It would be a great upgrade if this kit had hook and loop Velcro - it just has the hook part for use on fabric as seen in the description. The lights are very bright, even in daylight when my old rechargeable lights would not activate. I ordered 2 more LED light strips to give me full light symmetry in my pantry doorway. That 2 pack of lights from Litever is available on Amazon for $9.99 as of 3/19/23 if you search for B0B3J8GL7Y on Amazon. On small annoyance is pulling the red cover tape from one side of the adhesive strips. The white cover comes off with ease but the red is a chore. My cat also likes pulling the door open to stare at the cat treats. I think I now need a door closer. The seller is awesome as well. I had an issue with a shipment issue that falls between the cracks in the Amazon system. The seller took care of it for me. Quality company from top to bottom. In summary, this AC powered LED light kit is well made, works exceptionally well if you can access an AC outlet and is relatively simple to install for a DIY person with some experience. The lights are very bright, the kit comes with pretty much everything you need, and it is easy to install. The door sensor works perfectly, and the included components are thoughtful and provide what you need for pretty much any installation. It comes with a splitter, allowing you to start the "run" of lights at one spot and go in 2 different directions. I chose to do that, starting over a closet door and branching out with a string of lights going down each side, but in retrospect, I should have just started at the bottom of one side and worked my way up and used the extra extension cables that come in the kit to run across the top of the door where I did not want to have the lights, and it would have made for an easier installation. It comes with 4 or 5 extensions that (from memory) I think are 16 inches each. I advise getting everything organized and use painters tape to temporarily get the lights up in the target area and verify the length of everything and your install plan before doing the install. This kit was easy to install and works great. Lights are bright and they provide more than enough retainers to route your wires as you want them. I sent the first order back because it appeared to be missing two cables. When the second order arrived and I didn't see those same two cables I broke down one of the wire bundles and they were wrapped up with them. Company should bundle these items separately or annotate in instructions that they are bundled together. Read more
