Works well enough for attaching 6 soldier shrink tubes around a pixel repair on a leaping arch prop, at night, in 30 degree weather. I could have dragged my corded heat gun out, but wanted to try this. For the temp outside and a light wind it took apx 2 minute of heat gun to get the first 3 done. From past experience I'd say my 1800 watt corded could have done it in 1 minute. Considering dragging out my 50 foot extension cord and putting it away this is a nice addition. I got a wired hot gun, but it was pain in the ass to use while I’m working on a ladder try to use shrink tube to secure the wires. With this wireless tool, it make my life so much easier. It heats up pretty fast and the accessories make the job even easier to get done. It has cold, low, high for the temp and it has a hook to hold itself. I’ve used this heat gun for about two months. It’s still holding up good the only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to press low or high when you power it on it doesn’t hold his memory from the last heat setting. You had it on for the price it’s a good heat gun. I use it every day. The only thing I wish that it would come with another battery because I work in a hospital biomed tech and I use it heat, shrinking cables and pulling PM stickers off equipment. Also, I wish it had a trigger lock that way you don’t have to hold the trigger in to do heat shrink tubing, especially when you’re doing a lot of it. Read more

Pretty underwhelming heat production, the safety toggle to actually engage the heat has to be held down the entire time and is actually super obnoxious, takes 24 business days to heat up while holding the safety the entire time too, meh. Not optimal. Read more
