I am 5' 10", 163 pounds. Size Large fit me well. I ran the sleeve of this jacket under a heavy flow of water from the kitchen sink. No water penetrated the sleeve. I looked to make sure the seams were taped as described in the ad. They were taped. The pockets are roomy. The quality is good. The zippers work well. Good value. As far as functionality, it's well designed because the hood doesn't look dorky when it is closed, and the back of the rain jacket is designed so when you sit down, it doesn't stress the seams since the jacket is lengthy. I recommend this jacket. I do not plan on ever washing it because from what I can tell, washing a rain jacket tends to decrease its waterproofing. Read more

I bought this for an Iceland trip. I was in heavy rain, snow, wind, and heavy waterfall spray. This jacket kept me dry without any issues. I recommend this jacket. Note that I went to Iceland in the fall and the temperatures were cold, 40 degrees F and colder which I expected. So I bought the jacket two sizes larger so that I could wear it over layers of warm clothing and that worked perfectly. Read more

This is about the fit. I was wanting a longer trench style jacket & based on this unit is almost true to description. They do not have a phot of the jacket on a hime zre live in Seattle and it will get lot’s of use, especially Luman ft get Field. I was looking for a long rain coat.
