Bought this for my 4 year old and he loves it. He started pre k this year and has used it as a backpack for school. It can fit a full sized folder but is a bit cramped. Usually we use it for folder, extra set of clothes, snack and cup. He is able to get it on and off easily. It has held up very well and still looks new after owning it for almost 6 months. We got these backpacks for my 2.5-year-old twins for our cross-country flight. I only packed light items for the flight like sticker books, snacks, toys, and a water bottle. The backpacks fit them great and were easy for them to carry on their own. They are obsessed with these bags right now. They’re in a phase where they constantly want to collect things, put them in bags, and carry them around the house, so these backpacks have been getting daily use on this trip just for fun. The size is actually really nice. It fit some little books that were a bit larger than standard computer paper, so it would definitely hold a notebook or iPad if needed. We chose not to put anything heavy or expensive like tablets in the bags since the girls were carrying them, but they easily could have held those items too. The zippers are easy for them to open and close on their own, and the bags are surprisingly sturdy. My girls sometimes struggle with zippers and pull hard, but these have held up really well. I originally picked this backpack because it was inexpensive and arrived the next day, but it turned out to be the perfect choice. They don’t go to daycare or school, so we’re not using them for heavy daily loads, but I do think they’d hold up just fine for regular everyday use. Definitely recommend. Read more
