These boots are warm and have good traction so I feel secure walking in icy parking lots, but they are too stiff and don't flex enough for going on longer walks. They work good for running errands and grocery shopping trips. They do stay on my very narrow feet if I lace them up good, but they are so stiff they cut into the front of my shin if I tie them too tight.
