Great set! Nice gloss formula! Would definitely recommend this set over buying individually!
These come in a nice outer product box. They’re made in the USA. They’re cruelty free (Leaping Bunny). The ingredients are listed on the product box. They say they’re a “clean, vegan, fragrance free, cruelty free brand” and “pigments are Carmine free and 100% safe for your skin.” I found it kind of odd they’re claiming to be clean, vegan, and Carmine free but don’t have an ingredient list posted at all. I was able to go to the brand’s website and find them before getting this and they can also be found on Ulta’s website. But, you shouldn’t have to search them out even if it is a simple Google search away. I included the full ingredient list at the end of my review. These glosses are really nice. I previously got a single shade of this glass (shade “Proud”) and really enjoyed it. So I was excited to get this trio Holiday set! You get 3 shades - “Honor,” which is a peachy pink with gold shimmer in it, “Smart,” which is a bright red, and “Grace,” which is a beautiful mauve. “Grace” is my favorite, with “Honor” coming in second, and “Smart” coming in third. But the order is based on my personal preference alone. They all perform the same. They are all glosses, so they aren’t opaque color. “Grace” is just kind of like my lips but better. It just looks very natural on with a nice shine to it. “Honor” is more like a clear gloss with shimmer to it. I don’t notice the peachy pink color to it when swatching it or once applied. So, it works well as a gloss topper for any lip color since it isn’t going to mix with the color of any liner or lipstick I put it over. I thought I wouldn’t really get much use out of “Smart” because I don’t wear reds often, and this seemed too bright and loud for me. But, since it’s a gloss, it’s more on the sheer side. It applies a nice, slight color to my lips without being too much. I really like that. It’s a way for me to venture into red without feeling like it’s too loud or bold on me. I also like that not all 3 of them have shimmer in them, just the 1 (“Honor”). The glosses are in nice tubes. They have a clear bottom where you can see the shade through it and a gold top. The doefoot is a nice size where it applies the product right where I want it. It’s pigmented for a gloss, giving a nice tint to the lips. It has a thicker consistency where it lasts well on the lips for a gloss and doesn’t need reapplied as often as a thinner gloss would, but not so thick where it’s sticky and heavy on the lips. It feels nice and smooth. It gives a nice shine to the lips. Like I said before, I previously got a single of these glosses and really enjoyed it. But, I thought it was kind of pricey ($20 each for 4.2 ml tubes). When I saw this set of 3 was only $35, I thought maybe they weren’t going to be full size, but they are. Each tube is 4.2 ml. So this set you get 3 full sized tubes for $35, making each one about $11.67 per tube. That’s a much better deal in my opinion (especially with how drugstore prices seem to keep increasing!). Of course, this is a set so you can’t choose specific colors. But if these 3 colors are ones you’d get use out of, I think it’s a much better value than buying a single one for $20 or 3 single ones at $20 each (which would be $60). You’re getting 3 full sized glosses for a little over half the price if purchased individually! Overall, I really like the formula of these glosses! If these are shades you’d use, I’d definitely recommend them! If you’ve been considering trying Live Tinted Get Glossy Huegloss, I’d recommend getting this set since a full sized single tube is $20 and this set of 3 full sized tubes is $35! It’s a much better deal. Buying them individually at $20 each, I don’t think it’s worth it since there’s a lot of great gloss formulas for much less. But with this set being $35, making each gloss about $11.67 per tube, I don’t think it’s bad at all. It’s a nice formula and feels nice on the lips.
