Despite a lack of reviews, I decided this would be a great product to "gamble" on as I really wanted an air fryer with glass. The shallower pan made a lot of sense to me as you have more area to spread out your food. The footprint of the appliance fits well in our space. I have not sent either the basket or baking dish through the dishwasher yet, but they wash easily by hand. The glass is HEAVY! Be careful hand washing not to drop it. The first thing I cooked in it was chicken strips and sweet potato fries. They were both more crispy than how they would get in our old air fryer with metal baskets. I didn't even preheat it! There was no weird taste from being a new appliance. But, I followed the directions before cooking anything and did a dry run. I actually did two "burn off" runs and never smelled anything! We have re-heated pizza, that works great! We did frozen Taquitos- they were good.(per my child) I think there are several glass dishes you could use to bake in this air fryer, but we haven't tried yet. Favorite features: more surface area, seeing the food while cooking, the light, easy cleanup, and intuitive controls. Read more

This is the ultimate air fryer! It is built well, large and will hold a large amount of food. I cooked 2 whole packs of chicken wings, crispy outside and wonderful inside! The setting for chicken wings was perfect! It does take up some counter space and is for at least two people or a family. It is a grand air fryer! Read more

After unpacking (it was packed very well), it was very easy to set-up. Just plug it in. Since this is just an air-fryer, it's smaller than combo units, but do check your counterspace first. The manual was very informational and easy to read. But honestly, once you get a few things down (the preset icons are kind of small, but you can ID them in the manual), the interface is intuitive. There is only one moving part, the multi-purpose knob, but it's pretty sturdy. Everything else is touch-screen activated. Cooking works well, I've already heated left-overs (including things that don't do well in the microwave) and roasted vegetables. It has a nice "half-way shake" indicator. When it sounds, you can open the unit and lift the basket, shake and replace, then just push it back in to resume (no pressing of buttons to re-start), so it's very simplified. After staring a preset, you can adjust to preferences. And of course it has a manual mode (the fan icon for 'air fry'), which allows you to set time and temp and just press the Start/Stop button (universal icons we're all use from our music players). I'll keep my microwave for things it does faster, but a lot of things just don't do well in a microwave, so this will be good to cook and reheat while retaining taste.
