If it's not broken why then fix it, or so the saying goes. I have been wearing this men's cologne not for 3 days, not for 3 weeks, not even for 3 years. This great smelling cologne has been an all time favorite fragrance to me as well as to people who doesn't know the name of this cologne. For almost three decades I have been getting the same complement again and again. People say you smell good. What are you wearing. when I hug women, they sniff me while placing their head on my chest and with a very pleasant smile on there face, they simply say to me you smell good. what is the name of that cologne. some go as far as to say " I just want to lay here for a while. You smell so good. Now I am a married man. In fact, I am a newlywed man. My Wife likes YSL L'Homme, and Versace poure homme. I love those fragrances too. However I thought that I would surprise her with my trusty old lady killer and of course, she was quite please with the scent as well. The very nice thing about Claiborne for Men by Liz Claiborne is the clean smell that it has. It doesn't even matter if you spray it on your body or your clothing. It just smells great, and people will notice it if they get near you. it is never too strong or smells overly perfumed or loud, but it has a crisp clean wonderful fragrance that everyone must enjoy. And now, unlike it was a while ago, this is affordable for anyone. It's strange that everyone love this fragrance, but no one seems to know the bargain of what their sense of smell enjoys so much. I used to wear this cologne years ago and recall loving the scent and receiving compliments unlike any cologne I have ever wore. Just doodling around I found this on Amazon and figured it was a must buy, especially at the price point it was at. As it arrived I decided to spray two sprays and come back a day later to see if it was strong enough to stay or how quickly it faded. The scent remained, although much weaker than when first sprayed. I love this cologne and intend on buying many more bottles as this cologne is hard to find and I believe it is no longer in production. I have heard the company that used to make this now makes Curve. The cologne kind of reminds me of a citrusy, mossy, scent similar to Hugo Boss yet less powerful. This cologne appeals to many others, as I have had many many types of cologne and I receive compliments with this one unlike all of the others. This is one of my favorite all around colognes in my top 5 for sure, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this cologne as a daily wear, or to add to a collection of scents. Read more

I have used this cologne since the late 90's and though it's not quite the original, it's amazingly similar and that's why it gets 4 stars. I recall the original with a sweeter smell and this is a bit muskier. This is not an overbearing smell like Polo or Axe, it's what I call a close quarters scent and it lasts a long time. I lost count on how many times I have gone in for a hug with both males and females and they stop and say, "Wow! You smell really good." and then pull me in for a closer sniff. Now being a bigger guy, that brings a smile to my face. Being affordable and available here anytime I need it, is the icing on the cake. So if you're looking for a cologne that will turn heads right when you walk in the room from the smell, this is not it. But if you're looking for a cologne that will impress new friends and help people remember you when they see you and they want to get close, this is a winner for me and has been for decades now. I'm super psyched to have found the large bottle of "Liz Claiborne for Men" still for sale. I wore this scent for nearly 15 years before the company stopped shipping it to department stores and, instead, pushed their new "Curve" brand, which I don't like as much. Every once in a while, a few bottles will pop up in unexpected places (I found a bottle once at Kohl's and, surprisingly, I was able to purchase two bottles for the price of one at Kmart!) but my local Perfumania store, which stocked it for many years after the product had been pulled from most store shelves, has stopped selling it in their brick-and-mortar stores, although it is still available through their web site. What makes this scent my favorite? Well, it just smells good. It's a light, fruity scent that has a long staying power; one doesn't need to wear a lot of it at one time. For me, anyway, it's a good match with my body chemistry. People almost always comment that I smell good when I wear it; the only other colognes I've found with that kind of reaction are Grey Flannel (everyone loves Grey Flannel) and Nautica Voyage. I've purchased several bottles this time around; I'll use one bottle when I receive it and freeze the other two to keep them fresh til it's their turn to be used. Liz Claiborne had a real winner on their hands with this cologne -- then stopped supporting it, although they must be still making it. Try it -- I promise you'll like it. This stuff was so expensive when I was a kid, like three and a half times this price. So as I was looking to treat myself to a cologne for X-mas this year I found this and bought it. It's a good size so should last a while. It's strong so two spirts or three at most is all you need. Price can't be beaten and that included shipping, but took about four days from start to finish to get to me. This is my foot back in the door to some good colognes to be gotten. Plus it brings back memories of thirty years ago when I was a tot and used to dress up for the girls. LOL Read more
