I am no expert on car covers but I do have a lot of experience covering up equipment and other things like piles of firewood with tarps. Sun, wind, snow and ice eventually takes a toll on whatever cover you have, even the heaviest and most durable. While this cover should be adequate for most residential needs I'm not impressed with the material it uses which is basically a very thin plastic waterproof layer backed by a cottony underside. I think tearing is a concern especially if the cover is moved with ice on it. The cover comes with a storage bag, a couple stands or straps of material to tie the bundle when not in use and a thin lock wire and 3-number combination lock. The storage bag will work fine if you vacuum pack the cover first but trying to get a previously unfolded cover into that bag will be difficult in my estimation. The cover itself does have the front center marked with a label "FRONT" which is very helpful. There are ties straps at each wheel and a belly strap to go underneath the belly of the vehicle. There is also a zipper for access to the driver's side door when the cover is on. Additionally there is reflective orange tape marking the cover tops (left and right sides) which helps immensely in positioning the cover on the vehicle. I suggest doing a thorough inspection of the cover for defects when opening for the first time as there's a lot of sewing and square footage of material, but all in all the workmanship seems fine. Beyond my reservations about the durability of the material used and the too small storage bag I think most people will be happy with this cover. Read more

This car cover is pretty nice. I like that the inside is soft and won't scratch the paint. The cover is marked in the front so you know which way to put it on, and it also has green stripes to help orient you while you are covering your car. The zipper to open the door is a nice touch. It's so convenient and really helps if you need to grab something out of your car real quick, you won't have to uncover it. It fits well and is holding up to the sun really well so far. The only bad thing I can say about it, is the strings they provide on the corners to tie it down could be better. They could have put the plastic clips on all the tie down strings and not just the couple that have them. Overall, I'm happy with it. Read more
