I picked these up to accommodate the ever growing collection of body wash, hair treatments, and seemingly endless array of shower aides piling up. Let's face it, that 32oz shampoo bottle that just fell off the overcrowded shower caddy is heading for one place and that is directly at your pinky toe. Joking aside, these are really well made, heavy duty corner shelves. No rough edges, warping, chipped finish or any other type of defect present at all. They're simple and straightforward to install and if you put them up correctly with the provided hardware, you can almost hang on them they are so sturdy. On top of being well made, they look nice and have some extra thought put into them in the form of things like a slot for a razor. These definitely aren't the cheapest option out there, but $32 (currently have a coupon to get them for $27) for the quality you get makes them a solid value in my eyes. As you can see from the pictures, I opted not to put these in my shower as I would be concerned about water leaking through into the wall, regardless of how much caulk you might use. So I opted to use it as a corner shelf to put my medication’s on as well as to hang some small bags from. It was fairly easy to install, and the fact that it has an edge that prevents my medication’s from just falling off is a bonus. I do think it has a decent storage capacity and it is definitely sturdy. The quality of the metal I think is actually really good. It’s really solid stainless steel which means it’s not going go anywhere anytime soon. As for the look of it, I’m not sure that I love the look, but I do like the ability to organize my medication’s in a way that makes them easy to access. Altogether, I think this is a great shelf, again. I wouldn’t install it in a shower personally, but I have plenty of corners in my house where I need a tiny bit of storage so these definitely will not go to waste even though they won’t go into my showers. Okay, so for the positives. These are very sturdy steel shelves that are highly functional and build with a lot of options for layout and configuration of items. You'll want to measure with care to ensure a good, level, stable mount. I was drilling into tile, so any mistakes were going to be a huge pain to address. Now, that leads into the second thing you'll really want to consider before you start drilling: safety. These shelves are solid steel and the edges are quite thin. Not enough to cut you under most circumstances, but definitely a hazard if you were to slip and fall into them with force. I advise mounting them as high as you find practical to avoid that sort of scenario, or consider options for DIY padding with rubber bumpers or the like. Read more
