UPDATE: 11/17/2025 - Just bought a pair of Navy in medium and they are NOT THE SAME. The mouth cover is not as stretchy or thick as it used to be. Still worth buying as it's a great hat and the face cover is nice under the neck area pulled down. Just be aware the face cover won't be as tight, I would love more of the OLD original ones with the stretchy thicker fleece on the face part. This is my new favorite head/face cover. I have sensitive skin to the cold and was looking for a face head cover combo that was not tight on the bridge of the nose as that area also is sensitive to being pressed on! This fit the bill. It does have a bit of pressure on nose tip but overall very happy. So warm double layer on of fleece on the head part! face mask is so warm. Perfect for New England winter. I bought the large and also the medium, I couldn't tell much if any difference between them. I am a female but have a larger head. This looks to be OK quality. But, I don't really need the face cover part. And I found that to be a bit uncomfortable. It claims you can tuck the face piece up inside the cap, for extra warmth. I found that you could, but it didn't lay flat, and created a lump-of-sorts on top of the head. I didn't like the color. Many product claim to be "military green", but no two are the same. Read more

I have a large head, my fitted hats usually run about 7 3/4. A lot of the reviews stated that this hat was super large so I took a shot at it and I am super happy with the it! It fits just snug enough. Not too tight, not too lose! Face piece fit perfectly. It’s currently 36 degrees where I’m at. I went outside for about 20 minutes and my head and face stayed warm the whole time. If you have a big head and looking for a quality hat for the winter, This is it.
