Niche came with poorly done paint job and a scratches, also I would suggest holding the niche up to a light to check for holes in the corners. All 4 corners of ours had tiny holes and had there not already been other problems with the niche we probably would not have noticed them and that would have bad news along the line. Read more

I am absolutely impressed with this niche. -The metal is solid with no flex and is attached well. -The coating is flawless and looks great. -Each shelf has the slightest angle to keep water from pooling, and the shelves are perforated so that it wouldn't pool anyway. -Installation is easy and straightforward. We're putting this to use in an outside shower for a guest cottage; we live on an island, so sand is a thing. However, this shower is also for outdoor showering. We live on several acres, and the island is heavily forested. The only one peeking at us is Bigfoot, so this is perfect. -This arrived well packaged, so there is zero damage, not even cosmetic, to the niche. The shelves are only just over 7" high each, which normally would drive me nuts, but as this is for an outside shower, there aren't a lot of bulk bottles. Everything is fairly minimal and small because they are in eco-friendly containers. (Shower drains into the septic anyway, but still..) I can't say enough about how sleek and well-made this thing is. This is a beautiful niche that was an absolute snap to install, about as easy as it gets. I love these, no tiling or complex diy skills necessary, you just cut the hole and pop it in and voila, pro-looking home upgrade and some extra storage space wherever you choose. The finish looks great, excellent quality metal work, and it works perfectly. I would buy this again, the professional looking results are worth it and it's a great value for the extra storage. Niche is well constructed and solid. There are no rough edges or seams. The rust resistant coating has a smooth and consistent finish. Installation seems like its going to be straight forward. The configuration seems to provide ample storage. I suggest measuring product bottles when ordering to ensure your needs will be met. Each opening is less than 8 inches. If bottles are taller or economy size you may want to consider the 12 x 36 size with 12.2 inch spaces. Unfortunately, we have not installed it yet, as we are waiting on our professional.
