I was looking for a mat/rug for my three month old who is now turning over and making motions to crawl. I didn’t want the typical child foam tiles because I don’t think those are soft enough for a baby. I found this rug and decided to give it a try based on the thickness and material. This rug is excellent and my baby loves it! It’s so comfortable for him. If he’s on his tummy and his head goes down, this rug provides a lot of cushion which is one of the main things I wanted when searching for a rug for him. Another plus is that this rug cleans easily. For those looking to get rid of the lines/dents/ridges when you first open the vacuum sealed package, I used a clothing steamer to steam out the rug (for sanitizing and getting the lines/folds out of the rug). SO SOFT. I bought this to go under my babies toddler slide and honestly I could fall asleep on it with how soft and comfortable it is. Super cute too, wish I’d bought it sooner! Haven’t had to try and clean it yet, but will update if I have any issues there. Read more

It’s very soft and it looks nice. I took stars away because it has a very strong smell- kind of like ink. I am hoping that goes away with time. If it does not, I’ll likely look to return it because right now it’s not something I’m comfortable having my baby play on. I’ll update my review if the smell goes away. Beautiful rug, great quality, correct size, super soft and cushy! Fast shipping! Came exactly as advertised. I was worried at first because it had a lump in the middle that didn’t seem to want to flatten when I first unpackaged it but we laid a baby gate flat on top of it and after two hours the lump was gone and everything was smooth and fluffed up as it was intended to be. Didn’t have to iron it as instructions suggested to get packaging lines out, they smoothed out on their own quicker then instructions stated and it was ready for use with in hours. Really plush and comfortable to use for my toddler but unfortunately it’s only been a few months and the shape is warped and the top layer pulls up when being vacuumed and I don’t have a very strong suction vacuum which will lead to holes. Read more
