The first one I received was defective. I contacted the company they were kind enough to send me a replacement. I have not been able to get the replacement to work either and I'm beyond frustrated. I have another call into the company, and have not heard back yet. At this point I would advise against the product. This has been a huge help with our daughter! She used to get up before us to watch TV but now that isn't an issue anymore. Same thing with bedtime. When it's time for bed, the TV turns off and she goes to bed. What I think helped the most was building the schedule together and figuring out rules that were fair to her and us.
