Easy to install, this is my second lockly deadbolt I buy. I’ve had my other one for 3 years with no issues. Batteries usually last 4-6 months. I like that this one uses less batteries (4 instead of 6). Wish I didn’t have to buy an Apple hub so everyone can use the phone tap as it only allows one user without this. And I will miss the fingerprint my other one has. Looks great, functional, all in all good security especially since no one can tell what number your pushing as they are displayed in a mix. I've installed about a dozen "Smart" locks over the last couple years. This one takes a little more effort with fishing the wiring into the correct locations, and the door close sensor looks a little janky with a wire hanging outside of the lock. But the sensor is a full proof method to absolutely know the door is closed. I've had some other locks that used other internal sensors to guess when the door was closed, but this one knows for sure with that added external sensor. The entire lock body and everything about it feels premium. It even includes multiple striker plates with one being extra thick and intended to be installed over your existing striker plate as an added measure. And it includes two extra long screws to run all the way through the door jamb and into the wood stud behind it. The included printed install guide was well done with good pictures and descriptions of what needs to be done to complete installation. And finally, I was pleasantly surprised with the operation of this lock. It locks and unlocks smoothly with the keypad or app. And when you turn the knob inside, there isn't much resistance (a good thing) like in some locks where the motor is always engaged. The keypad is pretty cool. You could literally tell someone to watch you input your code, and they still couldn't guess it. Perfect for high traffic areas, or just when you don't want the neighborhood kid standing behind your own kids to know the entry code. Auto lock is another feature I have come to rely on. It gives peace of mind if someone forgets to lock the door when leaving. Voice control with Alexa and Google Assistant also works well and adds extra convenience. Overall, this smart lock feels like a premium product that delivers on its promises. It combines strong security, thoughtful design, and genuinely useful smart features. While it is an investment, the reliability, flexibility, and peace of mind make it well worth the price.
