I would not consider any other tape. Sure a few are less expensive, but they do not come close to the performance and quality of this tape. Advertised as ultra glow- if you want the brightest longest acting tape with excellent adhesive properties. This is it. Just nothing compares. I spent too much time buying other manufactures tape. Namely because they were less expensive. None of them compared. I wasn’t sure this brand would work as well as advertised until I actually put it to the test. 6 hours later- woke up and my remote was still detectable. Not a strong glow as what you get for the first few hours but certainly it glows just enough to be easy to locate. Try them all- I did - this tape cost a few quarters more , worth it- because it checks all the boxes. Read more

This tape works wonderfully. I am using it to wrap flashlights so they can be found at night. The tape continues to glow all night if exposed to light during the day. Read more

I use this tape as an amateur astronomer. I mark tripod legs, trip hazards, bump hazards, and other items I need to avoid or find in the dark. Small pieces are enough. When fully dark adapted, you can see this tape glow pretty much all night. It is bright initially when exposed to sunlight -- probably the UV component. I can't say whether it is "charged" very well by incandescent or LED bulbs. Fluorescents probably work. Read more

I was inclined to try this for some of my fishing stuff. Holy cow does this tape glow!!!!! It's great. As far as waterproof well, not so much. Now the solution is.....drum roll please.......clear heat shrink tubing!! Plus a dab of silicone for good measure. This stuff is amazing. It holds a charge for way longer than you can imagine. It's good with a garage light, better with sunlight, but holy crap with a true 365nm black light!!!! The adhesive is decent, but all the glory to the Glow !! Get some you'll thank me! Read more

Sticky enough, but doesn't hold a bright glow for very long. After the bright glow fades, you can still see a light green for maybe two hours. If you stretch it to go around a slight bend it deforms easily. I can't gauge the durability yet- but I will return with an overall update. I'd put the quality at a 3.5 on a 10 scale- not the best rating. I was looking to use this luminous tape for a couple of projects. This tape failed in both items, but I did find the correct tape! (See below) The first was to mark some of our paranormal teams' Pelican carry cases and a few pieces of key equipment. Being a retired paramedic I still carry a trauma case in my truck and wanted to mark the outside with this tape and a few pieces of reflecting tape. As stated - this tape failed. The last project was to mark areas on our front deck steps, and a few other outside night safety projects. This tape did fail in a big way, but to be honest this tape might not have been the right choice from the get-go. 🤷♂️😵💫 My recommendations if you are trying to do something similar to my projects. These may or may not be available on Amazon. (I have no affiliation whatsoever with these companies! ) • 1– Inside projects/helmets/equipment: Rothco Military Phosphorescent Luminous Tape; lasts 4 to 6 hrs (for real) and the coolest part is self-shines in darkness and is durable!! Great for my kits! • 2– ProTapes Pro Glow Gaffers Tape; lasts up to 10 hours! Gaffers taoevis are used in movie making and is VERY STICKY and holds BIG TIME! Used for my outside stuff. God bless! Item is cool while glowing and does glow well but it’s definitely not near sticky/tacky enough to go over or around anything of shape, only use if laying flat on an extremely cleaned surface with isopropyl! We weren’t too happy either when we found that the item went on sale and the price drastically dropped right after we bought ours, literally right after. It’s around $5-$6 cheaper now. Pictures I left is of a custom (MASK Firefly) i did using Carbon fiber and chrome vinyl then used this Glow tape to simulate body lights. Pictures are taken in dim lighting w cracked window light then in the dark with just cracked window lighting. Pictures are also taken in different stages of decay. MOST IMPORTANTLY! Just know this tape is too thick and the glue isn’t near as tacky enough as it needs to be for this stuff to bend around corners or wrap around any shape,it’s just not happening unless you use silo/box tape over it and don’t care how it looks in the light or its effect on the glow. Heat as you’re applying helps a bit too,it doesn’t adhere if the item is too cold. Warming both with a hair dryer or space heater will help to adhere to flat surfaces better, more permanently. Ease of removal,If you remove this stuff after applying it,it’s not going to stick back to anything. Other than that option it’s only sticking to flat, extremely clean surfaces with the corners preferably cut/rounded off or they too will lift if touched after applying. Hope this helps all you guys/gals out there as to whether you can use this our not?! Don’t forget to check their pricing! Thanks Amazon! Read more
