I have used this for more than 40 years. Always works. Easy to apply (More is not better). A slim stripe along the threads will do the best and will permit you to break the seal, with some effort. Whatever threads you "locK" will not unthread due to vibration or stress but can be unlocked, if needed. Especially effective on loose or worn threads. A little bit goes a long way. I usually apply it to the threads sparingly for best effect. If you want the threads to permanently NEVER come loose, use the Red. Have always had a tube of this around for the last 40 years. No need to overtorque (tighten) and risk stripping threads or breaking a bolt. Read more
