We decided to get a camera for our desktop for video conferencing meetings at home because using a phone or tablet kinda sucks. Logitech has great keyboards and mice, so I expect the camera would be safe to buy. It was very easy to set up. If I remember right all we did was plug it into a spare USB port in the back of the PC and clip it to the top of the monitor. The Zoom App found it on it's own and just a little tilt adjustment and we haven't touched it since. I gave the camera 5 stars for picture quality because it's fine for this purpose. Who wants or needs a high def closeup of their face when they're probably not wearing pants or shoes. Jim Read more
Cons: narrow field of view (about 60 deg); very light weight so it's easy to knock off monitor Pros: sharp picture; instantly recognized & support by debian variants (incl Ubuntu, Mx, Mint, etc); very good mic quality This is a massive upgrade in cam/mic quality from many laptop built-ins and a price right in line with its capabilities. Well worth it, everyone should have one of these around just-in-case. Read more
This is a great working webcam if you have a monitor that does not have a camera built in as I use this on my 24" monitor. It's crystal clear on Zoom & Google Meet calls and that's my primary need Read more
I'm just an average user, so nothing detailed here. No compatibility problems with my Win 11 machine. The camera and mic quality are perfect for my occasional use. If I had one recommendation it would be to change the way it can 'mount' to my monitor. It pretty much just balances on it with the assistance of gravity. It doesn't take much movement to upset the position of the camera. Read more
"Clip" is garbage and doesn't hold position. You're stuck just balancing it on top of your monitor and hoping it doesn't shift. Feels like there was supposed to be a spring or a washer in there for resistance that they forgot? The worst piece of logitech software I've ever tried to use, and they're known for bad software. Picture is a laggy, stuttery mess, and the FOV is way too narrow, with no way to adjust. Read more
Video quality is not so great, but it works Read more
I've been using these for years and years. Have purchased many for work computers for zoom meetings. Sure, there are higher resolution cameras out there, but for the price and purpose of video calls, these are perfect. One other thing I like about these over other cameras is that it has a picture of just you for video calls. Seems like a lot of the higher 1080p cameras have you as 10% of the image, and the room dominating the feed. This camera has you taking up most of the screen, with very little of the room. As I said, I've bought many before, and keep going back to this same one. Read more
