I have been primarily using gaming mice for years. I needed a mouse for eCAD and office work on a system I don't game on. First I scrounged a Logitech Wheel Mouse from my antique computer parts drawer. That was pretty horible, though it was one of the best optical mouse available 23 years ago. I ordered a Logitech MX Anywhere 3S, and it's a fantastic portable mouse, but I felt it was not quite big enough to be comfortable for long days of use. Sending it back. The MX Master 3S was the ticket. At the refurbished price it was in the same price range as the portable mouse. Glad I chose it, it is quite comfortable to me. It took a quick couple of searches to see how to make it work on Linux with the included dongle, but our opensource buddies got it down with some nifty software called "Solaar". My favorite things include; the thumb rest. The feel of the scroll wheel, whether in clicky mode or smooth, it is very nice. It's got enough weight to it to make it spin if you have a big scroll to do. Have to say, the thumb scroller isn't as nice, but it's fine. Have not had much time to get used to it, but I think it will be really useful in the eCAD software. This mouse seems to be very power efficient too. Recommended! Read more

This is a good mouse. The buttons are nice to click and satisfying. I like the fact that it doesn’t make a lot of noise. The design is good as well. It fits very well into my hand and I can use it for hours at a time without any fatigue. It has good weight to it. The mouse has a lot of functions and you can customize the buttons even more using the software. I’ve also dropped it a few times and so far I haven’t had any issues so I’d say it quite durable. Overall, I highly recommend this mouse Read more

I've been using this mouse for over a year now and I can't say nothing but good things! The mouse is super comfortable in hand, super long battery life, and never had any issues with connection. I love the design and functionality of the endless scroll wheel. Very good looking mouse as well! Read more

I like this mouse. Only trouble is, it makes my pinky cramp up! I don’t know why. Never happened before. Also, it doesn’t allow me to scroll from left to right. I do like how quiet it is, and that it’s universal between my Mac and my PC. 4 stars for the pinky cramps and the lack of scroll east to Read more

My old MX Master 2s has a design defect where the 'thumb button' will become stuck, resulting in an immobilized mouse cursor and useless mouse. Happy to report the design of this 3s model appears to have an improved design in this area that feels more robust; however, the Logitech Options+ software required to change the settings of this 3s model do not include the ability to set 'media controls' as the function for the 'thumb button' ... I used this all the time on the 2s, which is probably why it became stuck (although quite a few other users reported the same issue) - Typing this review on my new MX Keys Mini and it fortunately includes volume controls and play/pause, but no print screen :( Anywho, that's another review for a different day. The scroll wheels are greatly improved, much heavier-dutier all-metal design vs the old rubberized plastic of the 2s. 70 (8-hour) days of battery life can't be beat (for rechargeable models) to my knowledge, only time will tell if this refurbished/renewed unit will live up the 80% claim, but cosmetically and functionally the unit seems to be brand new. This is my absolute favorite mouse. Silent click, good feel, rechargeable, multi device. I've gone from mxmaster 2, to 3 to 3s and now I own 3+ 3S and have purchased many more for our office. Life would be simply disappointing if I was forced to use something else. Already looking forward to the next gen. Some coworkers have stated the mouse is too large and we've replaced it with the smaller MX series mouse. Both are very very good peripherals. Read more
