The T630 is a good travel mouse. Too small to be usefull for long periods of time. Not a desktop mouse at all.

doachOctober 11, 2014

The T630 is a good travel mouse. Too small to be usefull for long periods of time. Not a desktop mouse at all. This mouse (T630) is a travel mouse nothing more. It is not a true desktop mouse for getting work done. The T620 is a better mouse in my opinion overall. The shape of the T620 fits in the hand comfortably. This is important, the size of the T630 is way too small to be used comfortably. Even for short periods. As of this writing Logitech has scaled down their product range and their mice with touch surfaces is down to just a few. This being the main one. They have abandoned the desktop user, especially those of use who depend on getting work done. They have discontinued the M600 and T620 touch mice. Now they have zero, zilch, no touch mice for the desktop user. None for the professional desktop user. If you do work from home, forget about the T630 touch mouse. Get the Logitech T650 touch pad. As for touch mice seek out different manufactures or get the T620 or M600 while you can. The price have went way up due to demand on Amazon. Problem with that is that if you need to get real work done and use a desktop or laptop for extended periods, the T630 will end cramping your hand and is not comfortable for long periods or getting some serious work done. The T620 is much better in this regard. Shame that they discontinued the T620. Now Logitech has no touch mouse that is comfortable to use currently in production. Zero. I don't know who designed this thing but it must have been someone with very, very small hands. My 9 year says it is as big as her Logitech mouse for kids. Actually her mouse built for kids is bigger! Look at the photos! Really logitech, really. I don't care how you use this mouse, it will cramp your hand. Period. And as much as some reviewers like to blame the users on not using the mouse correctly, that is a poor judgement on that reviewer. As I have tried to flatten my hand out, use my fingers, everything from trying to keep this mouse from cramping my hand up. Nothing works. IT is just too small period.( My ten yearold loves it, fits her hand perfectly)End of story. Nice for short bursts and using it on the go for short periods and thats it. But if you need a mouse to get some serious work done and for extended periods. Steer clear of the Logitech T630. If logitech would only make the T630 materials and shape in the size and shape of the T620 they would have a magic mouse killer on their hands. I would avoid this mouse if you can help it. I have owned every touch mouse on PC and Mac you can think of. The logitech M600, T630, T620, magic mouse, magic track pad, logitech T650 touch pad, microsoft touch mouse and more. No one should adapt to a product, that is a sign of a poor product design if you have to adapt to it. A good product like a mouse should be comfortable and portable. Not one or the other. This mouse is the worst of them because of its size and form factor. That is it. That is the downfall of this mouse. Shame it would be king of the hill other wise. Shame on you Logitech for abandoned the professional desktop user. I am all for 'mobile' products. And the T630 is a good 'mobile' product. But how about the bread and butter desktop user? Most people like myself have both you know? Read more

Adding this device to this computer failed

William L.April 28, 2014

Firstly I would like to make a note that if this product worked and Logitech supported more than just the hardware (if they supported their own software as well as bluetooth) then it might be a decent device (and the company may not be worth slandering) though here I am. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE OF THIS DEVICE FROM THIS HORRID RETAILER LOGITECH, by from razer they have technical support. After purchasing my device on March 17th and receiving it on March 20th I have had the ABSOLUTE worst technical customer support experience of my LIVE given to me by Logitech (SURPRISE as they topped Micro$oft). When I contact Logitech I was walked through how to add a bluetooth device then asked if I was being prompted for a pairing code, which my computer never has for any devices (win 7 ultimate) at which point the tech says that doesn't sound right then has me reboot then try again. Issue persists. Informed the tech that I can get this device to work with: tablets, other laptops & desktop, and a phone at which point we open a case # and then the tech tells me to call my OEM for driver support. Long story short I get support from dell/alienware to reinstall my drivers as well as update my bios then i return to logitech. I was informed that since the issue is persistent that there is still an issue with my driver. During the call the tech kept putting me on long holds to check with at Tier 2 support though I couldn't get them to get on the phone even at request nor does logitech have any software for remote connecting to a computer to view the issue nor will the company conference in the company that they say should be providing further support, instead they give you the run around. At this point I'm 40+ hours and $70 some odd dollars to get a device functioning with my laptop to do work instead I've gotten a new passion and that's to file complaints over low quality support. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASE OF THIS DEVICE FROM THIS HORRID RETAILER LOGITECH, by from razer they have technical support. Read more
