Logitech webcams Conference Cam BCC950 1080p

I bought this during the COVID-19 pandemic because all normal webcams were out of stock everywhere. I figured we could eventually use it in the conference room but for now this has added mic, speaker and camera to my desktop PC that had none. This has been a fabulous webcam. Excellent picture and sound. The speakerphone works without echo or any other noise. The pan and tilt is nice for fine tuning. Definitely use the extender pole or the camera will be too low. The remote is nice but the panning is jumpy whereas panning from the built in controls is smooth. I did have to set my PC to use this as the default mic and speaker to keep it from dropping out during video conferences. You MUST plug the power adapter into AC; this doesn’t run from USB alone. For security purposes, I have crippled the microphones and cameras in ALL my computers as soon as I installed them. However, I recently acquired a remote client who is big on ZOOM meetings. I bought this Logitech setup because (a) I have always had excellent results with previous Logitech products (keyboards, mice, software, etc), and (b) I needed the audio-video capability it provides, but which can be instantly disabled by simply pulling the USB plug. EXCELLENT. When I set it up, it interfaced with the ZOOM client instantly, tested well, and provides good sound and video without crashing my limited DSL bandwidth. It’s a nice camera has microphone and speaker built in. The video quality is very good. No issues setting it up. However it feels cheaply made, it’s a crappy plastic housing. Thus why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Read more

This product does not take much space but is very useful product for conferencing in an office environment. It has both wide and normal picture capability. Excellent video quality with quite decent sound. Can be used by a group of people for conferencing. Arrived in a perfect condition within the time and till now there is no problem (almost 2 years now). I would appreciate if they can update the drivers etc to add some more image enhancing features. With more day light in the background it tends to darken the skin colour even when a LED light is on in front of the person. Read more

I screwed around for several months trying to go cheap on a camera/microphone for my desktop computer at home. After a lot of disappointment I finally decided to bite the bullet and spend decent money to get a camera from a brand that I have experience with and trust, Logitech. The BCC950 is an awesome camera. I don't need all of the features, for instance I don't have VOIP so I don't need the telephone compatibility. The auto focus is great, so is the zoom. The pan and tilt are fun, but not needed by me for my applications, but I can see where this would be valuable in a conference room setting with multiple attendees in the same conference room, you wouldn't have to settle for a long shot of the conference table and hope you could see whose lips are moving. As I said, this is an awesome camera. If I need another one, or if I need to specify one for my office at work, if we ever get back to our offices, I know what I am going to get. Read more

This unit is designed for individual use, but has a wide field of view. The unit is operated by remote control which is designed to move in stages, rather than a smooth pan. The straight mounting arm for the camera is an appropriate height, but I've had to place the unit off to the side of my monitor. Doing so, does not allow for a straight viewing angle, but the wide pan makes up for it. The audio sound is good quality and integrates easily with my PC. I was able to use the USBc plug-in from my docking station to power the unit as an alternative to the plug. Read more

The max pan on the camera will capture one individual sitting at the end of a 8' table, side note the zoom is good enough to only capture your eyes. Camera quality was grainy (may have been online test software) Easy setup, good looking unit, will be sending back. Read more
