The rated 2,000 amps peak for jump-starting vehicles is boldly stated by the manufacturer, and other reviewers have seen that it works reliably in real-world tests for typical cars. The unit also doubles as a portable power bank (charges with USB-C and provides USB-A output) and features a 300-lumen LED light with SOS and strobe modes, which means it’s useful beyond just jump-starting a dead battery. The build feels solid, the clamps and cables are heavy-duty, and the added safety protections (reverse-polarity, spark-proof, over-charge etc.) give extra peace of mind for roadside use. If I were to offer constructive feedback, the J400 may not match the larger multi-function beasts that include built-in air compressors or additional tire inflators, so if you’re expecting all-in-one “trailer/RV” emergency gear you might want a more feature-rich model. Additionally, while the size is compact and convenient, that means you still need to keep it charged if you intend to rely on it during long-term storage. Bought this over the NOCO after seeing reviews and videos. I have a Viking jump pack at 1000a and it is more expensive than this unit. I have used the 1000a to jump all of our vehicles when needed, including my motorcycle and my lawn mower, so this unit shouldn't have any issues with anything I throw at it. Lightweight, compact and easily stores in your vehicle. Bought this to keep in my truck. I like being able to jump start the vehicle without needing another vehicle to use jumper cables. Keeps you self-sufficient and gets you out of a jam if you find yourself alone in a remote area. Charges quickly and doesn't lose charge over time like other traditional jump packs. Like other lithium jump packs, they do recommend that you charge the unit every three months to extend the life of the batteries in the unit. Pretty standard. Read more
I’m really impressed with the LOKITHOR J400. It started my SUV instantly, even in slightly cold weather, and the digital display makes it easy to see the battery status. The clamps feel solid and the ConnectMax feature gives some peace of mind that it’s connected safely. It’s lightweight, charges fast, and doubles as a power bank in a pinch. The flashlight is very bright, and it seems to jump start cars with relative ease. It started my car in 10 degree weather after it had been sitting for over a month on the first try! Would recommend! The media could not be loaded. UPDATED: Worked great to jumpstart my old jeep. We had our first hard freeze of the year and my battery was dead. Jumpstarted flawlessly. I have owned a battery jump starter for several years for our primary vehicle. I bought this particular one to keep in our secondary vehicle. It is compact, but heavy, which, i believe reflects its battery capacity. I havent had the opportunity to jump start any batteries with this Jump Starter yet, so i cant review that aspect, but I like the display - large and bright. I also like the large and extremely bright flashlight, which would be useful in any night-time emergency situation. I also like that there is a usb charging port. This would be particularly useful for charging a dead phone in a crunch. I am glad to know that this will be available when I need it. Read more

This lil guy is AMAZING!! I had a bad battery, and this started my car up right away! It was so easy to use. It kept my car alive each time until I was able to buy a new battery over the weekend! I will not go anywhere without it now. It lives in my car. I also want to note, I fully charged this device as soon as I bought it in November, used it a hanful of times.
