These tampons have been my go-to for years now - I love the discrete packaging, the box is also minimal regarding ink/eco waste. I grew up with cardboard applicators and have a habit of throwing them in the toilet when applied as one quick motion - believe me when I say I HATE the plastic applicators for the predicament this has put me in when I have defaulted to habit while using plastic 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 The light, regular, and super sizes all absorb well and perform better than Tampax. Likely chemicals, but compared to these, Tampax cotton seems ‘slick,’ which inhibits full absorption. The more natural cotton feel of these tampons isn’t less comfortable and they absorb better, I think due to the natural fabrication. I will use these tampons forever. Thanks, Lola! Read more

I’m not a fan of these, my first time using I purchased these as a woman in my mid 40’s I still currently have a monthly period but it’s a lighter flow and finding light tampons seems almost impossible. These remind me of a regular flow tampon and the tampon itself seems longer than average (also it’s a cardboard stiff applicator) you absolutely must use both hands to insert one to firmly grip top and one to firmly push ! I feel better using these tampons. I have the super which has a plastic applicator and I highly recommend them. However, these are extremely difficult. I have tried many times thinking it was operator error. Alas, the mount of fury that ensues from the attempt is not worth the money and peace lost from trying these out. The company is great. I am giving them 5 stars because I like the brand and it's use of no fragrance, organic cotton, etc. I hate them because I didn't do my research, heck, I must've not even looked at the picture because these are cardboard applicators and the cotton tampon itself is very long. I hate cardboard applicators, now I'm stuck with them because I opened them. Plus, the fact that they are not compact takes away the portability and discretion of having a tampon. I can't stash them away in the glove box or in other emergency places that I like to keep them. I wondered why the double pack was so cheap, now I know 🙄 Again, that is no fault if the company or the product, that is my oversight for not reading it or even looking at the pictures.
