I am so excited that Lolita Lempicka has released the original Midnight Purple bottle again. I found Lolita Lempicka after the initial release and have collected two other limited edition bottles. I am so happy to have this bottle in my collection now. They are all beautifully designed and the signature sprayer that is designed into the stem adds to the charm. The fragrance is the first one that I have found fits me so perfectly and keeps me reaching for it every time I am going out. The blend of every scent in this perfume is beautiful and comes together to create such an intoxicating experience when wearing it. I don’t use a lot at one time, perfume can be so overwhelming to others, so I try to be mindful of that as this is a strong scent. I generally do a spritz on my neck and will also put some on my wrists. When I do want a stronger presentation, I will spritz it from arms length over my head and allow it to mist into my hair. It is such a lovely thing to catch a whiff of it while I am working or going about my day - I find it to be a calming experience that gives my day a little lift. I find that the scent starts out strong and slowly melds into a gentle hint of scent that others comment on but, not because it is too strong but, rather, it is unique and they are curious as to what I am wearing and what the scent is. Very highly recommend this if you are a fan already to add to your collection or, as a gift if there is a Lolita Lempicka fan in your life. Read more

The design of this perfume bottle is unique and eye-catching, and I love having it stand out in my perfume collection. When I first sprayed this perfume, I was met with a strong scent, a blend of licorice, anise, and lavender, but over time the scent gradually softened and became sweeter, not overpowering. My wife has hundreds of scents but this was our first foray into the world of Lolita Lempicka. Starting off with presentation, this is a beautiful overall package, everything from the box to the bottle is themed and well done. This particular item is a limited edition midnight bottle with gold accents, it’s the same scent as the usual le parfum but with a snazzy-er bottle. And speaking of the bottle it’s a gorgeous one, thick heavy glass with really well done design work and a very unique and elegant atomizer made to look like the apple stem. While not a typical atomizer in shape, in use it’s a perfectly nice atomizer that does the job just fine. As for the scent, as my title says it’s a fairy garden in a bottle! They certainly captured the essence they were going for with this scent, it’s a light airy fresh scent it’s notes of licorice, violet and maybe the iris are what really stands out to me in the opening, which gives it a really fun, playful, youthful vibe. This is certainly not your nanas perfume this is a beautiful modern feminine scent and a very versatile one too, you could wear this in almost any weather (except maybe winter so much but you do you) or almost any occasion. It’s light enough and fresh enough to never get too cloying or too loud but it finds that nice balance where you also get a nice scent bubble/trail. Longevity is more than as expected for an EDP with my wife getting all day scent from just a few sprays. Overall for the price this is a steal, this is niche quality fragrance at designer prices and it’s well worth the cost of admission. My wife loves this fragrance and is certainly a new Lolita Lempicka customer for life. Just add to cart you won’t be disappointed. Five stars. Read more
