For a 4x6 rug priced over $100, I expected a bit more in terms of materials, but visually it’s definitely a win. Where it falls short for me is the feel. The pile is pretty short, so it doesn’t have that plush, cozy texture I was hoping for. The synthetic thread used around the border also gives it a slightly cheap finish, which stands out more than I’d like. The back of the rug is pretty hard and smooth, which makes it skate across hard floors unless you're using a rug pad. You'll also need a rug pad to make this feel a little softer. Functionally, it lays flat, vacuums easily, and looks great from a distance. It just doesn’t feel as high-quality up close. This is one of the best area rugs I have ever purchased. It has held up great under our dining room table and we got compliments about it all the time. The color is surprisingly resilient and has withstood several spills from two toddlers. It is extremely strong and vacuums up nicely. It is neither thick nor thin but it's extremely comfortable.
