Dirt cheap, decent generic clone of higher end carpal tunnel mouse
If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: I needed a new mouse for my couchputer and I prefer bluetooth. I never really considered getting an ergonomic mouse like this but this looked cool so I ordered it. Likes: * The price is super low, especially considering that this mouse offers both bluetooth and 2.4Ghz (via a USB reciever for the latter). * It feels good on my wrist. I had a small surgery on my right wrist this year and I actually think that this would have been a good option to help with my recovery. * The battery life has been good so far. * USB-C charging is always a plus. * The mouse tracks well and the bluetooth range reaches all the way across my living room. No likes: * When they say lightweight like it's a feature, it's really a flaw. This mouse could be 100% heavier and the experience with it would be better. * The branding on the side says Beautiful Day with some hearts in a decorative font. So weird!!! Neither of these issues are bad enough for me to take off a star. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes but I need to figure out a way to remove the Beautiful Day logo Final thoughts: Good, weird mouse. Functionally good, aesthetically strange. Read more
