I had a slight “oh no!” moment when I first opened the package because the fabric looked a little sheer. To be safe, I tried them on over printed underwear—and I’m happy to report they are not see-through at all! That was a huge relief. The fabric is lightweight, soft, and breathable, making these perfect for spring, summer, and even early fall…practically year-round in Vegas. The high-waisted, smocked waistband is comfortable without feeling tight, and the wide-leg, ankle-length cut is very flattering. I also love the slightly wrinkled texture—it gives them a relaxed, casual look that still feels put-together. I washed them in the machine and hung them to dry over my shower bar, and they did not shrink at all. Huge win! And best of all… they have pockets—real, functional pockets that actually hold things. I don’t recommend putting anything very heavy in the pockets, though, because it will pull the pants off balance - if that makes sense. The material is flowy if not cheap feeling but the strangest thing is the sizing. They fit fine through the legs but the waist seems small and they are so short. I am 5'10 and they look like capris. I think if you are petite these might work for you but they aren't really my style. Read more
