I needed a dress for a funeral (they happen). This was exactly right. I’m 5’ tall, 140lbs and the 12P fit perfectly except the length came down to mid calf, which is not flattering on me. This dress was beautiful. It fit perfectly, is a good quality, and arrived quickly. It's form fitting on the top and loose on the bottom which suits me . I needed it for a funeral but with the touch of gold on the buttons I can wear it anywhere. I think it's more of a fall/winter/early spring material though. A bit heavier than what I was expecting. This dress looked so cute on the model, and I love another dress I have by London Times. However, this one was not as I had hoped. I found it frumpy on me overall. The material did not look very nice, for one thing, and that got us off on the wrong foot. I found the waist with the buttons to be a little too…high? low?...I don’t know, it just didn’t seem to be in the right place. The sleeves just seemed like they were too short for me instead of looking like elbow length sleeves. I have long arms, but they came too close to my wrist to be elbow length, and too far from my wrist to be long. The photos I included with this review actually make it look better on me than it did in real life, just so you know. For reference, I am 5’9”, 132 lbs, and I bought the size 4. Read more
