This combination bike lock is exactly what I needed—simple, reliable, and easy to use. Setting the code took just seconds, and I love not having to carry a key around. The cable is sturdy enough for everyday use, and it’s long enough to secure my bike to racks without a hassle. It’s lightweight, weather-resistant, and perfect for quick errands or locking up at school. Great value for the price and peace of mind! Read more
Solid lock, and I use it to lock a chain link gate. I like that the dials mostly click into place at a number, but they can still stop short of a whole number, meaning that you'll be trying to incrementally adjust one number or another to get the lock to open. This is a challenge with all locks of this type, not just this one. I wish, instead, that the numbers had hard stops--making it difficult to stop the disk in-between two digits. The dials are also shaped in such a way, slightly concave, that makes it easier to grip and spin. However, I wish the dials were slightly further apart. I'm just a regularly sized guy, but find it challenging to move just one dial at a time due to my finger width. That's especially true when the lock disks aren't directly facing me or when you've lost a little dexterity in the winter months. Read more
Very convenient I love that since this is a shorter bike chain lock, it ALWAYS recoils back into a circle when needed. This brought me to the only downside that I wish it was longer, but longer locks are less likely to recoil as easily. My solution was to simply buy another lock! I just purchased another one of these which I plan on feeding the start of the second lock into the end of the 1st lock so I can have double the length while still getting it to recoil for convenience Read more
Simple bike lock which is easy to use. Short cable works for specific locking but not generally useful in bigger situations. Lock will protect your bike in public places but it’s not strong, hardened for long-term or remote use. Read more

It was cut through and stolen the very first night - and I live in a suburban neighborhood where crime is normally very minimal (obviously, not that night). It was locked to a cement drain pipe, with both ends cemented into a cement wall. The pipe was not touched, solely the lock. So, I went to the bike store and the owner said these type of locks are for ‘look and show’ only. They are super easy to cut through, and meant only to be used in high traffic public areas during the day, where you can tether it to a bus stop or parking meter pole, as thieves don’t generally steal a bike in broad daylight with many people around. Emphasis on ‘generally’. He said if you want a heavy-duty, crime-deterrent lock, your best options are a higher model of the Kryptonite brand, or Krylo. That said, he made it clear even with those brands, if a thief is determined to steal it, and willing to invest the time, skill, noise level and correct tool (power blades / saws, grinders, etc.) to take it, they’re going to take it.
