This item was a great disappointment only due to the fact that my bathroom is laid out poorly for this particular Stone Mat. I’d like to start by saying it was packaged nicely. Really nice Stone Matt. I needed a smaller one to fit in the space that I had available n this worked out perfect. Works as well as any other stone mat. My only real complaint is that I don't see a whole lot of benefits in the mat being flexible like this. it ends up collecting a whole lot of dirt in between the slats of the Stone and I have to rinse it off all the time but it dries super quickly which is nice and then if you ever get a stain on it or anything you just take a little sandpaper that they give you and rub that spot rinse it off and it's good as new. So with that being said it does hold up really well, it's as durable as any other Stone mat. Read more

This is an excellent bath mat. You step onto this stone tile rug, and it absorbs the water. You'll see your wet footprints momentarily, and then they fade away. It feels and looks just like stone. It's a porous rock called diatomite. It has exceptional absorption properties. The rug consists of ten panels that bend at the seams. The mat is quite substantial, as one would anticipate from a material like rock, and it includes a non-slip mat for added stability. Although water can be used to rinse out most stains, a small piece of sandpaper is included for those that are particularly difficult. Be careful, though. Mine dropped to the floor when I was pulling out the rug, and I thought I hadn't gotten it. To prevent mold from growing, dry the mat in a well-ventilated area for 7-10 days in the summer and 3-4 days in the winter. Additionally, dry it 2–3 days before the first use. Don't sun-dry it though. That's several things to remember, so it's not maintenance-free, but it's built to last, and you won't constantly be replacing your bathroom mat. Read more

I love to have this type of mat next to my sink. I don't like them as a floor mat for shower because we have tiles and whoever was laying them didn't do a great job so they are crooked and these mats don't like it. However next to the sink in the kitchen they work great. I had a white one because that is my favorite color but it was horrible to maintain especially if you rinse your dishes and put it there before you put it in the dishwasher or if you just lay it there. It was full of stains and coffee circles etc. I started hating it very quickly. So i ordered this gray one, it makes world difference.
