This top is well made and looks just like the picture. The material is a stretchy fabric, with taupe and black stripes. The deep v neck is flattering. It can be worn year around - not too thick of a material that would make it too hot even for the hotter months. The buttons go all the way way down but I am showing it in the picture with the last two unbuttoned - ignore the sweatpants! :) This is me in my normal size small. It can be worn casually with jeans or dresses up with nicer pants. Can’t wait to wear mine out! Read more

I really wanted to love this shirt but unfortunately it has some serious issues. What’s wrong with it: First off I ordered according to the size chart and I feel it runs small. Also the v-neck is incredibly low, it’s much lower than how it looks on the model. To wear this and not expose yourself you will need to wear a tank under it, if not your goods will be on full display. Keeping this shirt closed was another challenge, the buttons are small and the fabric is stretchy so the buttons didn’t want to stay in the holes. The buttons also pull so it looks like gaps along the button line where it’s pulled. The only way to fix this issue is to actually sew the front closed and have the buttons be decorative only but that limits how you can wear it. The sleeves are so long only my finger tips peaked out. It’s also skin tight not slim fitting, the material is very stretchy so it feels like it’s made smaller because it can stretch but it doesn’t look good with the button gaps. It’s just not practically designed to be able to be worn as a shirt. I did see some reviews and a vid of someone wearing it and it looked ok but even with someone who is very lean and small chested, the buttons still pulled. Whats good about it: This shirt has a few good qualities going for it like the stitching, all the stitches were impeccable. Every stitch is sewn well, even the button holes. The fabric is very stretchy and breathable. Sadly that’s all the good I have to say about this shirt. While it’s a cute shirt, I don’t like buttons pulling and leaving gaps where there shouldn’t be. Ultimately this is a strong pass for me it just has too many issues so I don’t recommend it. The reason I gave it 3 stars is only because it is sewn very well and that is a mark of quality that I don’t often see so I have to acknowledge it regardless of the issues. At best this can be used as a cardigan over a tank but it does not work as a shirt. Read more

I have such mixed feelings on this shirt. design: 3/5. this would look much better with thinner stripes and different a undertone color. The stripes are gray and black, and the gray in real life just looks dingy. This reminds me of something i’d find at Spencer’s in 2008 or a beetlejuice costume. quality: 5/5. the fabric is very soft, stretchy and breathable. definitely the highlight. fit: 2/5. as others have said, this runs ridiculously small, especially in the chest area. The small is really an XS or XXS. The top buttons gape open at the top, meaning you need to wear an undershirt which defeats the point of a cropped fitted top. The top button kept opening, rendering this shirt useless for me. The sleeve length was decent at least. Read more

Cute, Slim-Fit V-Neck Top – Trendy Y2K Style with Lightweight Comfort Verdict: This long-sleeve striped top is a flattering, stretchy piece that gives off a fun Y2K vibe—perfect for layering or wearing on its own for casual outings and going-out looks. Usage Context: I wore this top with jeans for a casual day out and later layered it with a cardigan. The slim-fit design hugs the body without feeling tight, and the V-neckline is flattering while still modest. The stripes add a trendy, retro touch, and the lightweight fabric makes it comfortable for transitional weather or indoor gatherings. Pros: • Soft, stretchy material that’s comfortable for all-day wear • Slim-fit silhouette creates a flattering, body-skimming look • V-neckline works well with necklaces and layers • Lightweight fabric ideal for going out, layering, or spring/fall outfits • Trendy Y2K striped style adds a fun, youthful touch • Pairs easily with jeans, skirts, or a cropped jacket Cons: • Fabric is on the thinner side, especially in lighter colors • Runs slightly small, so consider sizing up for a more relaxed fit • Not a true cardigan—more of a fitted tee with a cardigan-style cut Comparison: Similar in look to popular Y2K-style tops from PacSun or Urban Outfitters, but at a more affordable price with slightly thinner fabric. Recommendation: Great for anyone wanting a cute, fitted striped top with Y2K flair—perfect for casual days, going-out outfits, or layering into trendy fall and spring styles. Read more
