The rug itself was very soft and pleasant but the pattern does not show in person as well as it does in the photos, the subtle orange looks like random blood spills on the rug and the subtle whitish stiping looks like a glow in the dark paint was added after the fact. It’s an okay rug for the price. Does the job. It’s pretty and does have grippy backing so it doesn’t slide on the floor. However, the material is very “slick” so I find that my ottoman doesn’t stay in place and that my couch has a tendency to slide easily if bumped too hard.
