I never try shaving with a straight razor before. After watching a few tutorial VDOs on YouTube. I think this will be a very good start. I found that this razor is extremely sharp and on my first try, I cut myself badly. After a few times, I started to understand the proper angle and pressure and am able to achieve a very close shave. When I use these up, I may buy an actual straight razor. The only issue with these razors are they are very light weight so I need to apply some pressure when I shave and cannot let the razor weight do the work according to the tutorial VDOs. Read more

I was compelled to assess these despite the previous feedback opinions. I will side with the others. These are a nice idea. But, they must be using the reject blades. I have several straight edged razors and use them regularly. So, I am not much of a neophyte. The chafing from the very first stroke remains still a day later. Thank goodness I stopped after that or I would look a wreck. Do not use these for shaving living creatures that you care for. Use them as hobby knives when you do not mind having a mildly sharp razor (such as a dull Xacto for scraping). Read more
