Bad sizing; customer support useless

I got the M which is listed as a 30" waist, but it felt big on me so I measured - it's actually 31.5". I emailed customer support to see if they could assist in determining whether this was an aberration with my specific pair (in which case I would have done a replacement) or an issue with the pants in general. They didn't read the email properly and simply responded with return instructions. I sent two follow-ups to no avail - they ignored both of them. I wouldn't trust this company to change a lightbulb.
