I loved the idea of this outfit. However there are a few things to keep in mind when ordering this product. First and most important is the feel of the fabric. I am not sure how to describe it. It is very soft but almost doesn't feel like a fabric. I'm sure that sounds strange but the fabric feels very strange kind of like a cross between a plastic, rubber and fleece mix. I hope that helps someone considering this product. I'm not certain I would recommend this to a friend. For a first where the product seem to wear okay, it seems to move okay and it seemed to look okay on. However, I ordered a size large and I am swimming in it. I'm hoping it may shrink a bit when I wash it. I am a medium to medium large and this I would definitely order medium maybe even small. Overall the quality of the product is fair. The seams are so well enough it is the fabric itself that I have more concerns with. That perhaps with each wash it will either lose shape or the fabric itself would start to deteriorate this remains to be seen I will say it doesn't feel as though it is a fabric that will pill so that is a positive certainly. This sweater dress is soft, warm, & comfortable! However, I'd say it runs larger than the size chart indicates. I ordered a Large in the Vintage Blue, & it's too big for me in the body of the dress as well as in the width & length of the sleeves. The mini skirt is the only section of the garment that fits. I think the size chart may be off a bit, so I'd say I should have ordered my regular size. I do love the weight of the knit, as well as the patterns within it - which is a cable type surrounded by vertical & horizontal row prints. The sleeves & the mini skirt are all made of a tightly ribbed knit. The dress features a boat neckline that can extend below one shoulder, although I like it drawn down a bit toward both shoulders. I think the Vintage Blue is a beautiful hue; it's a subtle, medium blue without the brighter notes of Royal Blue. However, the unique focal point for this dress, in my opinion, is that I can wear it straight as an A-line dress or gather it a bit at my waist so it looks like a sweater over a mini skirt. I absolutely love this design! Also, this dress looks good alone without accessories; it also looks great with a belt, or I can wear it over tights, leggings or jeans. It seems well made of a quality fabric blend & knit which also has a nice amount of stretch. I really enjoy having the choice to vary its look from mini skirt/sweater to A-line dress - depending upon where I'm going. It’s 8° today. My office is freezing, and I generally have to fire up the space heater. Decided on this look today, and I am so glad I did! Husband said I looked super cute and then immediately got suspicious on who I was trying to impress. The fit is great. Longer than I expected, but I’m on the shorter side of average. Typically, leggings aren’t allowed, but in this instance, I don’t think they count as pants! Besides, I’m not brave enough for bare (bear?) legs.
