This is a beautiful sweater vest. I've been looking for something like this for a long time. Now here's the dilemma;should I keep it&lose 30 pounds(again)so I can wear it next year? Or should I send it back? The size large is like a small. I'm a sz 10 in jeans&sz med in most tops. The length is great,but I need about 5 inches added to each side. Overall, I think this piece is really cute. I'm not sure how it's going to hold up in the wash, but it does have a really strong unpleasant smell. I'm going to hang it up and spray it with some fabric refresher and hope that helps! Like other reviews said, I agree that it runs very small! I'm usually a small or medium and got a large based on reviews and it looks more like a small to me. I am 19 weeks pregnant and didn't expect it to close around the middle anyway, so it works for me, but would definitely size up if you're not sure! Read more
The collar looks like it was hand cut by a child with scissors. The seams are ragged and uneven and the fabric is thin and scratchy. It’s also extremely small and unflattering. I’ve bought clothes by Love Tree before and they quality was much better. Suspicious that this is not the authentic brand. Read more

I saw a similar item at a boutique I shop at but the size large sold out quickly so I was excited to find it on Amazon!! I got the gray and it’s perfect! Sizing is accurate and it does have some stretch. For those saying it runs small, this style is not supposed to close in the middle, it’s meant to be worn open and the buttons are not functional, they’re not there to button it up. If you want something that does button or that wraps in the middle, I suggest getting a standard cardigan. This fits perfect for how it’s intended to be worn. Definitely 👍🏽👍🏽 Read more

I ordered this in black and was overall pretty happy with it. Quality is just ok. Feels a bit scratchy, but since it won't be directly touching my skin that won't really bother me. Buttons are a nice finishing touch. It does run small. I am usually a medium and the large fits me like a smaller sized medium. It won't button without pulling but I wanted an open cardigan look anyway. I'm 5'7" and weigh about 144. Not crazy that it is supposed to be hand washed. Guess time will tell how that pans out...UPDATE: Was going to order another color but after just 2 brief times of wearing it for a few hours, the yarn has pilled horribly. I am not hard on my clothing and I can just tell that the quality is really sub-par and can only imagine how awful it will look after even a hand-washing, which is what is recommended. I will wear it a few more times until it needs to be washed and then I am sure I will just toss it. Too bad as it's really a flattering style. Read more
