I got a medium to hold me in and it definitely did. My stomach felt as flat as it can get. I am 5’6 185lbs and a medium fit perfect. I am hourglass shape and even though I ordered a size down than i normally wear, this did not cut into my thighs, it was very comfortable and it did not roll down. I bought this for a dress with a low cut V in the back. I’d say the cut starts just about my waist, with the V dipping a few inches down on the dress. The recommended size for me on this shaper based on the chart was Xl. I bought a L. I’m 5’10, floating between 176 - 181lbs, with a bit of a long torso. This shaper smooths out the tummy area nicely, along with cellulite on top area of legs near my bottom ( derrière). I like that after taking it off, it maintained its original shape. Nothing was stretched, there was no broken threads etc. I moved around while wearing it - it didn’t roll down. The V cut was higher than the dress and it showed. I’m quite sure that my bottom is not flat. Maybe I need to go down to a medium. Maybe if my bottom was larger it would pull the V down a bit. I’m not sure. I’m returning it for the reason that the V is not low enough for my dress. If it was low enough this would have been a keeper. It’s sturdy. And well made, and deserves a 5 star rating. Read more
