These are kazoos. If you’re familiar with a kazoo, these are like that. They are Definitely sturdier than kazoos you get in a grab bag at the go-fish booth at a carnival. They are by far the nicest kazoos I have ever purchased. They are the only kazoos I ever purchased. These are so much better than the gimme kazoos my kids have always “won,” I am tempted to buy one of those expensive kazoos listed here, just to see if I am missing some amazing revelation about the possibilities of kazoos. We bought these for my high school daughters choir ensemble. They did a little skit where they thought it would be hilarious to break out kazoos at one point during a song. It wasn’t hilarious. It was pretty funny, just not the roof collapsing experience they thought it would be. But, to be fair, they’re high school girls. I wouldn’t necessarily blame the kazoos. The kazoos did their job. And the kazoos held up. Definitely durable enough for high school girls. This is both good and bad. A durable kazoo is not always something you want your kids to still have four months later. The package comes with 6 kazoos and 4 extra screens. However, none of the kazoos work even after changing the screens. If the holder isn't tightened it falls off. You can get some vibration if it is loose, but then it falls off. These are useless. Read more

I bought this pack just for the blue one. I loved the color, and I needed a cheap kazoo for a project. I whip out the blue kazoo, blow through it.. just air. I questioned myself. Am I playing a kazoo wrong? How much of a failure am I that I can't play a kazoo? I tried the other end. Not better. I watched videos on how to play a kazoo. I tried again, using a different breathing technique. Still nothing. So disappointed. So I tried one of the other colors, even though I only wanted the blue kazoo. A rich kazoo-y sound came forth. I tried another color! Also a rich, yet slightly different kazoo-y sound. I tried each kazoo in the pack and found success. I looked back at the blue kazoo. The only color I wanted. It was a dud. It didn't work. And not only that, but it had gaslighted me into thinking it was MY FAULT! Never again will I doubt my kazoo-ing. Believe it or not, I have bought A lot of kazoos over the years. I buy them because I teach a summer camp and we always participate in a Fourth of July parade. I have use plastic ones a different kind of metal kazoo, but this brand is by far my favorite. I like them because they have a beautiful, shiny metal surface and they sound great.
