Unzip this backpack further and you reveal compartment after compartment of storage and thoughtful placement to keep all the things organized. This backpack unzipped to allow a more suitcase style packing option. Inside there is smooth lining with nylon zippers to reveal compartments to pack, undergarments shoes, heavy sweatshirts, sweaters pants, you name it. There is also a mesh area in the center compartment which allows more volume for larger pieces of clothing. In the rear of the backpack, there is a padded laptop compartment, perfect for carrying larger laptops and keeping them protected from accidental drops or breakage. On each side of the backpack is an expandable compartment large enough to hold stainless steel handled, commuter, mugs or larger water bottles or jugs. Each side of the backpack has two plastic straps that click into place and allow for adjustment or compression as needed to make this bag fit into specific airline carriers, carry-on bag size. The front of the backpack has two generously sized zippered pockets which reveal even more zipper pockets and pocket compartments inside for everything from passports and pens to car keys and cosmetics. Even included is a nice leather bound, keychain and para cord wrap on a durable key ring. The light is pinkish white color would be best described as light khaki and it is absolutely gender, neutral, and I would not describe it as a feminine pink. A nylon drawstring shoe bag is also included for your convenience. The padded straps of this backpack include expertly spaced webbing to attach carabiners or items as appropriate. The straps are sewn in and reinforced with a additional stitching and include a thoracic clip, should you wish to use this bag for hiking. Absolutely STELLAR travel backpack!! This backpack isnt just a backpack, its actually a soft sided suitcase, that is backpack sized. This has nice strong padded straps to carry on your back (although it also has a strap for sliding it onto the handle of a suitcase as well as a handle on the top for carrying that way). It has 4 pull straps along the sides to cinch it in and keep it compact. It also has a water bottle (or umbrella) pocket on the side. There is so much room in this backpack! There is a second smaller pocket on the outside for passports or wallet or cell phone. And then a larger outside pocket where you can put your laptop or tablet, and pens, etc and then main compartment unzips and opens up the way a suitcase would - sideways -and when its open you find a good size compartment for holding clothing, as well as a small zippered pocket for toothbrush or socks or small things. And then the other side has a mesh panel zipped in, for putting dirty laundry or toiletries etc. This also comes with a fabric drawstring shoe bag. All in all this travel backpack is the ultimate in backpack suitcases - it looks absolutely beautiful, with its two tone colouring and its so versatile and easy to use (and would fit under the seat in front of you on an aircraft or easily up into the overhead bin - even when completely stuffed) that its perfect. I have never had one of their bags tear or break. The hardware is also great quality; the zippers are smooth and easy to use. The tiny details on this bag makes it a real stand out.
