I’ve been looking for a smaller tote bag for a long time now, but most of them are just open compartments. I wanted something that I can organize a little bit more. The fact that this one has two side pockets for a water bottle or my 40 ounce UGG is perfection. It has a compartment for my iPad or a laptop. Smaller compartments for the little things you need to carry. And the center part is large enough to throw whatever you need. This bag is for when you want a luxurious or glamorous version of a heavy-duty school or business bag that will handle unpredictable weather. I use this bag every time I go to the doctor. I can easily move the insert from my purse into the middle of this bag and have plenty of room on each end for my big 40-ounce tumbler on one side and a smaller tumbler or large bottle of water on the other. On each side of the bag, I'll use the large pouch for my calendar, which doubles as a journal, so it's 8x11 and pretty thick. The small pouch will house my digital notebook. Both areas are well padded, so everything will be protected. The pockets on the other side of the bag make it easy to store my phone, glasses, and pens, all of which I need to reach quickly, easily, and often. This bag makes doing that simple. All the hardware is high quality and heavy duty. The zippers slide smoothly and effortlessly. The zipper pulls are fantastic quality, a good size, and easy to grab onto, which I really appreciate. The material of the bag is smooth and silky, yet strong and weatherproof. It's that material that will protect my electronics from all weather when it needs to and is easy to clean. The liner inside the bag is thick and reinforced. For me, that's really important because I dislike when my purse becomes a magic bag because a hole in the liner has allowed things to slip into and then under the liner, making them disappear. A reinforced liner will prevent that. The liner is expertly sewn into the bag, and if needed, it can be easily turned out for cleaning. I like that I don't have to worry about this liner easily ripping, tearing, or coming apart at its stitches. What sets this laptop purse bag apart from so many other large tote bags is that it has feet, so the purse itself never touches the surface where I'm placing my bag down. This starts to make a huge difference if you place your bag on the airport floor or under the seat. Feet protect the bottom of the bag. I really like the straps on this bag. They're smooth, soft, and easily adjustable. It's a wonderfully large bag, so it's nice to be able to adjust the straps to accommodate how I'm using it. I also like that the luggage strap is hidden in the zipper pocket in the back, and I can use that pocket to briefly store my passport, phone, license, etc. through security. Very helpful. LOVEVOOK is a fantastic brand that clearly cares about their products and its customers. I'd expect to pay hundreds for a bag like this in department stores, so for less than $60, this is amazing value. Added to this, they often have huge sales. For $40 at the time of review, this is an attractive bag with plenty of space and some nice organizational features. It looks like a water resistant vinyl material on the outside - attractive and functional. And easy to wipe off and clean if you need to. Got the 17.3" version, so it is very spacious. The look is good. Nice color, attractive straps, but really all about carrying your things. The handles are comfortable and feel durable. And the bag allows for a nice level of organization. The laptop compartment will fit a 15 or 17" laptop, and has enough space that you can fit two in if you need to (my daughter does this sometimes with a work and school computer). I still recommend going to a backpack if you have that much weight - this gets heavy on the shoulder and doesn't balance you evenly. For lighter laptops it is great. All but one pocked is internal, the small external zipped pocket is handy for things like hotel keys. Multiple internal dividers mean you can hold a good number of things and still find them all. I like the internal water bottle compartment, had some other items in there, but it does fit a decently large bottle comfortably with the stretchy pockets. This is my daughter's general purpose carry all bag - it is easy to rearrange, large enough to hold the things she needs, and has the organizational tools to keep things nicely held together inside. Extremely versatile. The zipper closure for the bag ends at the cup holder end. So if you have one of those ultra large cups, and a straw sticking out of it permanently, it will zip right up to that point exactly as you would like - not true in every bag with a holder. The side pocket of the bag has a little strap that comes out of it - I believe that is a luggage strap. So it will go over the handle of your rollaboard and stay neatly in place when going through an airport. To me this is a necessity in any travel backpack or bag, just because of how much lighter it makes your load. So tucked away a bit, and not as convenient as a permanent fixed strap, but a plus to have it. Overall, it is a great bag for the price. Read more
