This is my second Lovevook and it's even better than my first one. I bought the 1st Mini backpack due to back issues. My Physical Therapist told me that since a backpack distributes the weight better than a shoulder bag or tote, it would be great for me. He was right! I wanted something lightweight, but with enough space for everything I carry with me. The first one (beige) I got was almost perfect and my only complaint was that small things easily fall out of the inside side compartment. For the winter, I wanted a darker color and purchased the navy blue one. It's set up slightly differently (note that each bag is slightly different in terms of storage configuration) and is actually better than the first one. This one also has regular handles so you can carry it down by your side if you want to. The security pocket at the back is a bonus, although I haven't used it yet. Handy when you're in a hurry and don't want to bother putting it on your back for just a few steps. I've tried other brands' mini backpacks and they're either too small or awkward to use. This is the ONLY compact stylish backpack which has loops around the bottoms of the shoulder straps (bottom end) to prevent the excess length of strap from dragging or showing underneath. The construction of the loops around the bottoms of the shoulder straps prevents this unsightly— but almost always overlooked— problem with these cute fashion backpacks. The design team who created this bag were so careful and thorough in considering every feature of the bag— I am so glad that there are still competent industrial and fashion designers making such products. It ALSO is the only compact stylish backpack that I have encountered which has two —2— handles at the top, so it really does look and feel like a purse when I carry it. This subtle design element makes such a difference in visual and practical aspects of using the bag. I’m very impressed with every other feature of the bag as well: the spacious interior which holds two very large water bottles and an umbrella, the interior pockets which hold passports and credit cards, the waterproof material that is easy to clean, and the durable hardware (zippers, snaps, etc). Such an amazing backpack! For being a mini backpack it can hold a really good amount of stuff. I used this for our day trip to Disneyland filled with all the essentials plus more. I get a lot of compliments on this bag. It's stylish, practical, and small enough to use as a purse but with lots of space. This is the second one I bought of the same type and I love all the pockets, 2 side pockets for drinks/bottles/whatever. I've been using it as my every day purse for several months. It seems durable. The lighter part on top gets dirty but isn't too difficult to clean, I wish that part was a little more resilient. I probably should have pre-treated with scotch guard or something when it was new. I absolutely love this bag. It's the perfect size and I was able to ditch all of my other back packs and purses. It has a laptop section that fits my Mac laptop perfectly. My Dell laptop for work is more of a tight squeeze but it fits. So I can use it for work. Its compact size is still good to use as a regular purse. It holds everything I need and the side pockets work great for my water bottles. The zippers are smooth and appear to be well made. Love the charging port to charge my phone easily. Great value.
