This trash / recycling can is truly great! The size of the bins work well, it holds in odor pretty well, and the quality is made very sturdy / strong. The only downside to it is that the bins inside the trash can don't have anything to hold the bag, so the bag falls down into the bin some times. Read more

Got this for my city apartment. It is a little large, so keep this in mind. I got this knowing it may be a little big but I have the spot for it in my apartment. I like that it has two compartments for trash and recycling. It is very sturdy and looks very sleek and nice. It felt expensive for a trash can but after setting it up I feel like it was worth it. The media could not be loaded. I don’t mind splurging on a nice garbage can since it’s the one item in our house that we use every day. We produce a lot of recycling and I’ve searched all over trying to find a garbage can that has bigger spaces on both sides to hold more trash. This 21 gallon can is ideal! I created some labels with my vinyl cutter to make sure everyone knows which side is which, although you can buy magnets or labels here on Amazon. Also, SimpleHuman size J bags fit perfectly. I would definitely buy this again. Pros: -Higher capacity cans than other double bins -Lids have a soft close but also stay open easily when you need that feature. -Really well-designed and well-built. Just as high quality as some of the name brand $200+ cans Cons: -This thing smells like horrible plastic chemicals when it arrives. My husband and I were looking for a decent trashcan with a good size to fit in our kitchen. We know we wanted a trashcan that had two compartments to hold a lot of trash. We were looking for something that was sturdy made out of metal. We then found this trashcan that was stainless steel in a nice color grey that was able to hold a large amount of trash. It was a little hard to find some bags that were the size of a 10.5 gallon however Amazon also sells those bags which is great. We had no problem, taking it out of the box as the weight of the trashcan was not heavy and easy to set up. It holds the 10.5 bag perfectly as even though if the bag is heavy, it will not rip or fall on the bottom. 10/10 Read more
