I got two sets of these hook magnets for our cruise and they were JUST what I needed. In fact, I wish I would have bought a third set. They hold VERY strongly on the walls and ceilings of your cruise cabin. I used two of them to hold a shoe organizer which held all of our miscellaneous items, keeping the limited counter space neat and tidy in our room. A couple of them were used to hold our hats. I used one to hold a hand towel in the bathroom for during our hands. The rest I used to hang purses, sweaters, lanyards, swimsuit cover ups and more. They were just sturdy enough to hold what I needed but I was still able to remove them with a solid pull. I will definitely be recommending these to anyone going on a cruise and will be buying another set before my own next cruise. Read more
If you're looking for hooks with very strong magnets, these are it. In fact, I'd say they're a little too strong as I sometimes struggle to move them to other locations. That said, they hold up well and work for my purposes. I can't speak to whether they hold the maximum weight claimed as I use them for very light items, but I can well believe that they do given how much effort is required to pull them off of a surface. I also like the size and simplicity of the hooks. Getting things on and off of them is easy, and items stay in place. The design is basic, but I like that --- they blend right into the environment. These feel like they're going to last a long, long time, and I only need a few. But if I ever need more, I'll buy another pack of these because they are good value for the money. Read more

Strong magnets but they definitely do not hold as much weight as they claim. I used them for a cruise. Good for holding a wet swimsuit or a hat. I tried hanging a new terry cloth robe on one and it broke. I was able to put it back together but they are not strong enough to hold robes or purses on. They still came in very handy for the cruise. My wife loves to read cruise ship blogs. She noticed over time that many cruisers recommended these heavy duty magnetic hooks. The order arrived on time as expected. Upon opening the box, as some bloggers noted, sometimes 2 of the magnets were stuck together & difficult to separate. I was able to separate the magnets using a pocket knife butter blade. Using the thin, non-sharp blade, I was able to slide the blade a bit between the magnets & pushed across (don’t pull) the top magnet from the bottom magnet. The magnets are relatively heavy, look good & seem to be a good value. We’ve tested them at home & they work great. We’ll be using them on a cruise to Alaska in less than a week. Read more
