Read the directions! It will work for just what ever you need

I will say, if you listen to the directions and actually give it 72 hours, whatever you tape down is not coming back up, LOL! I used a piece about two and a half to three inches long on a lamp that always slides off the base. Well, I took their advice and used a clamp I typically use for woodworking to fasten it down for a couple of days. To be honest, it was probably closer to 48 hours, but it still is not moving when I pull horizontally on it. It is on a 2x4 piece of pine that I did not even clean before putting it on, so if you are putting it on a surface that is not porous, definitely use some alcohol to clean it first. I did not realize I had a whole roll of the same tape, but it was half an inch wide. I almost sent this roll back, but it works so well I'm sure I'll find use for all of it. Again, I definitely recommend it; the quality is outstanding and the stickiness is as sticky as it gets. Read more

Worked great on putting up Christmas decor on 2-car garage door. With temperatures getting down to below freezing at times, it held up beautifully, even in the downpours of rain that we had. So, it is waterproof as stated in description. It was easy to use putting up the huge sheet of polyester that had the decoration on it, and it held up great! Would recommend to anyone. Read more

Worked as discribed by seller. It’s sticky yet flexible in applying to surfaces. A con would be that the plastic that protects the glue is sometimes hard to remove from the sticky portion of the tape. Other than that, I highly recommend this product. Read more
