Material is flimsy leather yet thick and high quality with a suede rawhide look/feel on the outside, so it should stand the test of time without worrying about cracking like you would with a harder, firmer leather belt. The matte/semi-gloss black buckle looks great and doesn't stand out like a chrome or brass buckle would, so it should pair well with most outfits.
