Full disclosure: these are my first smart glasses and I just received them yesterday. They were very nicely packaged. Short, clear instructions were included. The glasses are stylish and lightweight. They fit my face perfectly. (I measured another pair of sunglasses to make sure these were comparable to what I wanted.) I connected them to my Apple watch and successfully ran through some “hey siri” commands, adjusted the volume, and familiarized myself with the button controls. Today I wore them to listen to an audio book while gardening for a few hours. The lenses were great in the bright sunlight. I was able to easily pause when a neighbor stopped to chat and resume afterwards. My initial impression is very positive. I missed a few incoming text messages, but I’m inclined to blame the audible app or the settings on my connected watch, not Lucyd. So far I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to getting a lot of use out of these sunglasses. Read more

Compared to Bose or Meta glasses, the audio quality of these glasses is horrible. Think Dollar Tree headphone quality. Obviously the above mentioned brands are way more expensive, but for the price, I was expecting decent sound. Read more

PROS: For $40 you get the glasses, a case, a secondary case, cleaning cloth of course, charger and the brick. It’s a pretty good deal to test the waters on this type of product. Lucyd isn’t as bulky as some of the other audio glasses. The glasses themselves are sleek and actually look really good and fit my face perfectly. It’s easy to pair and use, the instructions were included and straight forward. CONS: Sound quality is subpar, then again I didn’t expect them to blow me away for the price point. Only problem is that at higher volumes people around you can def hear in a confined space. And if you are out and about at maximum volume it hard to hear anything at all wearing the glasses let alone have a conversation on the phone with someone. It only works if you are in a confined space or somewhere that is not too noisy, but also hopefully there aren’t people around that will get annoyed by your music or phone call if that is the case. I don’t know if the more expensive models are a lot better in quality with the sound. But if that is the case I would invest in a better pair. But again if you just want to try it out, then $40 is a good deal for what you get. And I’ll end up keeping them and using them casually. Read more

I absolutely love these shades. I can listen to my favorite on line stories while keeping the sun out of my eyes. My husband loves to play his music while driving but with these smart shades I can listen to my stories without insulting my husband. Lol Read more

First pair cost $149.99, broke in under a month even after adding my prescription lenses. Bought another for $35.99 just for parts—broke too. Same problem twice. Poor quality and not worth it. I expected far better quality. Unfortunately, these glasses don’t meet the durability or reliability the brand promises, and I can’t recommend them Read more
