Why did you pick this product vs others?: Love these glasses. Fit, look, quality. They have everything I want in sunglasses. The con? This morning when the sun was coming up, I was driving west, so the sun was behind me. The glare the reflected into my eyes, from the inside of the glasses, hurt. I mean, my eye balls hurt because the sun was shining directly into my eyes. So. Don’t wear these in the early morning hours, or I guess when the sun’s going down and you’re driving east. These were a gift for a blue-eyed friend perpetually bothered by direct sunlight - she absolutely loves them. Tested the polarization (for glasses under $50, the word "polarized" is often thrown in as a sham buzzword while not actually being polarized) and they are indeed polarized. Polarization is a tad flimsy compared to my (prescription) lenses but I was frankly surprised it was there at all. To test that yourself, put them on and look at something on a smarphone/tablet/laptop screen, then tilt your head to the side - if the lenses are truly polarized the screen should completely (or mostly) go blank at a certain angle.
